Our principle is that we do not need to get into any argument. That's's the very first thing every individual should shoot for in any workplace. However, this is not pragmatic especially in any organization, there'll be fiery individuals are all out to consume you with their hate and loathing. If there is a need to fight back, you'll need to fight back and get back your reputation and grace. We have 7 tips for you to counter-strike and win any argument. We are hoping that you can put it to some serious use rather than beginning a fight with somebody else at work.
1. Generalize your adversary proposition or even exaggerate it. The more general your competitor's proposition becomes, the more loop holes you can find against it. On the other end, the more narrow the offers become, the more easier they can protect.
2. Use different meanings of the words Be alert and target key words that is vulnerable in his defense. Play with the words used. Derive a different meaning of the key word to refute his argument.
3. Give facts Show the truth of your proposition by asking the opponent questions that they can not deny. Cold hard facts does not allow any room for discussion!
4. Do not reveal your conclusion till the end Mingle with all your offers and direct your opponent to agree with them. There's no need to have a definite order. Till all major agreements of your offer are on your side, then you reveal the conclusion.
5. Use your opponent's's sentiments to contradict him If your adversary does not agree with what you proposed, find loop holes in his convictions ( that contradicts to what he suggested ) to support your offer.
6. Drive your contestant crazy Studies have shown that an annoyed individual loose his judgement for a couple of seconds. Therefore , but angering him, his level of judgment or logical calculations may exhaust which has advantages to you.
7. Ignore your opponent's's proposition Understand it first before refuting it. Identify things that is out of the current proposition and attack from there.
It will the best eventuality that you are not in an argument with anyone. If you do, you can use these tips to your advantage as a preemptive measure against irritated individuals at work. Remember, do not start any argument unless really truly necessary.
