Brochure printing can take both lots of time and money, which is why it is so important to create one that will sell your products. A reader usually determines within the first 3 seconds if they want to read a brochure or not. Most brochures today do not impact customers enough to convince them to make a purchase.

Here are 7 tips that will help your brochures become an effective selling tool.

1. Write a headline that makes an offer that cannot be refused. Many headlines for brochures present vague information, such as “Serving You Professionally.” Make sure your headline is full of benefits with a statement such as, “Our new lawn mower will save you $100 in gas each year!”

2. Make sure to lists the benefits of the product. Answer the question that every customer asks: “How will this help me?” Tailor the benefits to the lifestyle of your target audience.

3. Use bullets for presenting lists. Since most people only have time to skim through a brochure, a bulleted list will enable them to see exactly what you offer in a single glance.

4. Educate customers on your product or service. Your audience wants to know that they are making the best decision, so give them the information they crave: why your product is the best.

5. Include customer testimonials or case studies. Both are ways to enhance the believability of your benefits. Buyers are often convinced the most through testimonies of happy customers.

6. Include a photograph of both the product and yourself. Pictures allow customers to the quality of the item, and incorporating your photo enables customers to connect with you.

7. Encourage readers to take the next step with a clear call to action. They need to know whether you want them to visit a web site, call for more information, make an appointment, or make a purchase.

Include as many of these marketing tips in your brochure printing as possible for a marketing tool that encourages customer growth.
