| Affiliate Marketing And My Winning Ways For 2009-00-2142 |

It was nine months ago when I started out in Internet marketing. Affiliate marketing to be precise.
I joined the infamous Plug-In-Profit site and this decision proved to be one of the best I have made in many years, the reasons I say this are numerous aside from the obvious opportunity to make money from home. Without boring you with all the minute details, below is a list of my key reasons.
1. An opportunity to make money from home.
2. First class training course.
3. Amazing helpful and friendly community of like minded people.
4. I had time on my hands in the evenings and this proved an ideal way of preventing boredom.
5. It gave me a focus
As previously stated, it was nine months ago when I embarked on my new part time career which has now turned into my passion. I don’t profess to know all there is to know, in fact even the gurus are still learning as the Internet evolves. But what I do know is that having followed my mentors tuition as well as fellow marketers advice, my website is gaining in popularity and I am seeing financial gains.
Now that my website is becoming more popular I have decided to duplicate my success and not have all my eggs in one basket so to speak, using the marketing methods I have learned. I have just launched a new niche website.
The website is called Winning Ways and is in the gambling niche.
So why have I chosen the gambling niche? Well, it is a niche I have been contemplating for a while now, partly because I enjoy playing online Poker but also because I believe that a great deal of marketers shy away from it, either from a moral stance or for legal issues within their country of origin. There are also very few website hosting Companies that will allow gambling sites. I have found that Host4Profit my present host will allow gambling sites so this issue was easily resolved. In addition, I checked with the UK licensing authority (UK Gambling Commission ) from a legal aspect and no licenses are required for gambling affiliate websites.
One other reason I chose the gambling niche, was the present economy. It is my firm belief that many people will be turning to this niche in a bid for a windfall ie jackpot win or similar. I am in no way encouraging anyone to take up gambling, just providing a gateway to those that wish to.
In summary, my Winning Ways for 2009 are as follows:-
* Continue to improve my plug-in-profit site and this associated blog
* Share knowledge with fellow marketers passing on learnings from mistakes I have made (We all make them from time to time)
* Vigorously promote my new website
* Share my experiences to help others in their online adventures.
